Un vero e proprio evento locale che si svolge ogni marted\u00ec, sulla strada per Hasbaya, nel sud del Libano. Questo mercato settimanale funge da luogo di incontro e commercio per la gente del posto. Ma \u00e8 anche il luogo ideale per scoprire i resti di un antico khan del XVII secolo. Conquistato dall&#039;eminente dinastia Chehabita nel 1770, il luogo ospita ancora alcuni discendenti. Il magnifico edificio si sviluppa su tre piani fuori terra e tre livelli interrati. Su entrambi i lati dell&#039;ingresso ad arco si trovano i leoni di pietra emblematici della famiglia Chehabi. Situato tra Hasbaya e Ebdl es Saqi, Hebbariyeh \u00e8 un tempio romano poco conosciuto nella regione. Tuttavia, anche se rimangono solo le rovine di questo tempio, le mura ancora in piedi sono impressionanti. Queste mura, alte 8 m, recano cripte sotterranee risalenti al I sec. Sulla facciata delle nicchie semicircolari a due livelli che compongono la porta d&#039;ingresso si leggono ancora alcune righe in greco. Il Tempio di Hebbarieh poggia su un podio che un tempo ospitava gallerie sotterranee.
